Kurti & Hannerl
Since many generations the love for nature and to the animals is one of the most important parts of our being and is deep in our heart.

It was a coincidence or maybe it was regulation that the ways from our family and Alexander Gamper from Kitzbühel crosses in summer 2008. Alexander and veterinary surgeon Dr. Cornelia Z’berg lookes after a private project, which concerns orphaned and injured animals to dismiss them back to the nature later. We were enthusiastically from the individualisms from this people. From the first second on we knew, that we also want to help.
In long conversations with Alexander we find out that its relative easy to raise up hedgehogs, rabbits and co. Not the same with roe deer and deer. To raise up roe deers with a bottle is really difficult and normally it’s not possible to let them back to nature. Because they are disturbed. Also the deers have to stay in a large preserve after a castration. And such preserves are missing in every federal state.
Junior chef Johanna Schorer, passionated hunter, had a long conversation with her family and told them about the little deers which lives in garden from Alexander and get help there.
The hole family decided that they give the 5000m2 large plot behind the hotel for the hand raising from Alexander. After the fence was ready and the necessary infrastructure was made, the deers moved to their new home a short time before the winter starts. All of us are really happy to have these animals here and they are an enrichment for us and our guests. And we want this is for a long time.
